Frequently Asked Questions
Our first meeting is a conversation about what brings you to therapy and what you’d like to work on. It’s a chance for both of us to see if it feels like a good fit.
I primarily work with adults in individual therapy. Family or relationship concerns often come up in sessions, and we can address those together from your perspective.
Most clients start with weekly sessions. Over time, we may move to every other week depending on your goals and progress.
I’m an out-of-network provider, which means payment is due at each session. I can provide you with a receipt (superbill) that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
That’s completely okay. Our first session is simply an opportunity to explore whether this feels like the right step for you. Many clients find that even one conversation helps bring clarity to what’s been feeling stuck.
