About Jim

Hi, I’m Jim Ferry.

For more than 30 years, I’ve helped adults and families navigate the challenges that come with aging, caregiving, and life transitions. I became a therapist because I’ve always been drawn to helping people feel understood, affirmed, and supported.

My clients tell me they appreciate my calm, down-to-earth approach. I’m not here to overwhelm you with jargon or theory. I’m here to help you sort through what feels complicated, find clarity, and move toward practical solutions that work in real life.

I’ve worked with individuals from many walks of life—retired professionals, caregivers, and people adjusting to loss or family strain. What they all share is a desire to understand themselves better and create a more grounded, meaningful way forward.

Whether you’re balancing a career change, adjusting to retirement, or navigating distance in family relationships, therapy can give you the space to reflect, breathe, and make choices that feel right for you.

If you’re looking for a therapist who listens without judgment and helps you make steady, thoughtful progress, I’d be honored to work with you.
